She was as sweet as can be. The location is beautiful. Beautiful pastures with a lake view in the distance. The sheep out on the rolling hills. Yet this tranquil location was close enough to several cities for restaurants and exploring.

Located in Castlerea and only 20 km from Roscommon Racecourse, Lisalway Country Lodge provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The whole stay in Lisalway Lodge was outstanding from arrival to leaving, the hosts Pam and Tommy were really flexible with us even though we arrived very late due to travel disruption. The whole house was amazing, clean, bright, well maintained, our suite was luxurious, the breakfast was so good, with a great choice, Tommy bakes the bread it was so delicious you’ll never taste anything like it, his scones are also delicious. We felt very well looked after and a little spoilt when our hosts found out it was our honeymoon. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, it’s everything you want and more including fantastic hosts

Maureen and Ronald were the best hosts we've ever met, friendly and helpful. Our kids loved them and their cute dogs. We couldn't wait to get back from the trips back to Glenvela house. We were greeted so warmly on arriving and the lovely lady couldn't have done enough for us...she invited us to help ourselves to tea and biscuits and was so nice to our children. It's a top class b and b, beautiful house, lovely and spacious and modern and clean..couldn't fault one thing .breakfast was so good ..people were so kind and warm...super stay ..would look forward to going back
