This recently renovated guest house is located 1.6 km from Hawa Mahal - Palace of Winds and 4.7 km from Jaipur Railway Station. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. This place is so special! We initially chose this homestay because it looked so charming in photos, but the best part turned out to be the warmth of the family running this place. From the moment we checked in, they made us feel at home and we ended up extending our stay from 1 night to 4 nights. They have big hearts and are lots of fun - the kind of people who genuinely seem to thrive on looking after others. The breakfasts and dinners are completely delicious and prepared with great love and intention. They also offer amazing masala chai! The property is very beautiful with clean rooms and cosy common areas to chill in. Our room was on the highest floor and we had an great view of the fort and the mountains. The haveli's location is walking distance from Chandpole bazaar and the city palace and it’s easy to catch tuktuks to move about. We also signed up for their cooking classes. Instead of a standard touristy cooking class, we were treated to an indepth lesson on Indian cooking and spices from a great teacher who was very passionate about cooking. I was travelling with my mother, herself a fantastic cook, and she enjoyed this thoroughly and told me she learnt a great deal. They held the cooking class that day on their rooftop terrace (since there was a group of us) and it was pretty magical watching his delicious paneer curry bubble with the sun setting in the background. Overall, this place is a gem and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for real hospitality, look no further. We left with our hearts and bellies full.

Location in old city close to everything, but was in a quiet area.

Located in Varanasi, near Kedar Ghat and Sri Sankata Mochan Hanuman Temple, Ashirvad Homestay Varanasi is a recently renovated property, featuring, a garden and shared lounge. The air-conditioned accommodation is 1 km from Harishchandra Ghat, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary WiFi. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and luggage storage space for guests. For us Ashirvad Homestay was a welcoming and quiet refuge in an otherwise chaotic city. The location, a bit removed from the clutter near the river, is in an almost rural setting across the road from a park. Aman, the manager, was exceptionally helpful, changing money, arranging an airport transfer, setting up aboat trip and on Day One, negotiating a tuk-tuk for us. Trust me, if you do any of these activities, let Aman set them up for you.

The staff were kind and happy, suggesting that they were looked after well. The place was clean, close to everything you need, a quiet oasis, it had a beautiful organic garden, and great mountain views. What more could one ask for?

Pooja is a great host, helps and provides all assistance and help you may need during your stay. They can also organize taxi pick-up / drop-out, efficiently and on time. This guest house offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. They guys were realy nice and helped us arrange everything we needed. They even allowed us to stay and rest wayyy longer after the checkout since our bus was at quite late hours. We were 2 women traveling and we felt safe and welcomed. Also the price was good for what Moon Haveli offers. The location is also nice. East to get to main locations.
