Communication with the host was excellent - we knew exactly how to get our key and check in. Loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer! Lots of amenities in the kitchen so we could make our own food, and two large areas to sit and eat. The couch and chairs in the sitting area were very comfortable. Room was good, and bathrooms were clean. Highly recommend!

Very charming natural hotel medium size perfectly fits surrounding nature.... Very good kitchen, nice and comfortable rooms with OK stuff. Great great location excellent for glacier activities and hiking....!!!
- great location close to the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon - the property is brand new; beautiful interior - large room and large shower with enough toiletries - because the spa and gym were not yet open, the hotel offered us free breakfast and a welcome drink as compensation - proper light blocking curtains in the room - not often encountered in Iceland - luxury feel
The accommodation had a good location. Nice room with a private bathroom in a small building. It was good to be able to use the shared kitchen to prepare our own breakfast. We boiled water for our instant coffee that we had brought with us while traveling. We didn’t hear any guests. We might have been lucky, but we were worried it would be noisy, yet it was quiet.
Excellent breakfast, nice view from the restaurant. Comfortable bed, quiet room.
Great location Very quiet Comfortable modern rooms Good breakfast
Great location for the northern lights. Very clean and quiet and calm. Comfy and WARM!
We really enjoyed our stay. I think we were the only visitors during our night so it was very quiet and we had a private bathroom. The self check-in was easy, the bed comfortable and everything was clean. They also have a great coffee machine in an exceptionally well equiped kitchen. Dinner tip: Heppa. Breakfast tip: fresh bread/croissants and everything you want at the supermarket.
Spacious clean rooms, excellent breakfast and lovely to have tea/coffee facilities at night Visitors were quiet. Saw Northern Lights which was a bonus
Great location, quiet rooms, comfortable beds and everything in great condition. Good breakfast. So it‘s a strong recommend :)
Lovely rooms next to a beautiful black beach. We had the room with a en-suite bathroom, large window and a private terrace. The room was very comfortable, quiet and we really enjoyed the views. The breakfast was good and the staff members were very friendly. The beach is very popular but staying at the hotel allowed us to visit it in the evening, and in the morning, when we were the only people there. Skip the Viking village and head to the beach and hiking routes up in the mountains. The road is a bit bumpy but totally fine with regular car.
