There was an excellent drying sun room area attached to our lovely Japanese style bedroom, so we managed to catch up on our washing.. The futons were clean and comfortable. The host was so kind and really funny. We really enjoyed getting to know him and his friend who was visiting. Although it was in a remote area, it was easily accessible.via bus number 10 (1 hour) or about 30 mins by car from Fukui. The property is a hop, skip, and a jump to the ocean. The hosts also have a lovely camping ground by the seaside, not far from the house as another accommodation option. We loved our stay, and it was a great relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Mikuni Tsumesyo is located on the main street running along the axis, so it is conveniently located to everything you need. The house is truly amazing,, the photos do not do enough justice; gardens interior and design are all impeccable. I really enjoyed staying here but I wish could luve out of the house for an entire month.
