Everything was spotless—pristine clean bedspreads, soft white towels, hot water, air conditioning, and satellite TV made my stay even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going out of their way to ensure a great experience. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared, with a choice of continental, Sri Lankan, or English breakfast, as well as excellent lunch and dinner options. What makes this place even more special is that they only opened in December last year, and the owner is committed to giving young people opportunities for good jobs and a better future. I truly admire this initiative and wish them all the success. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay in nature!

Situated in Sigiriya, 1.6 km from Sigiriya Rock and 3.7 km from Pidurangala Rock, Sashini Homestay offers a garden and air conditioning. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The Forgotten Temple Kaludiya Pokuna is 13 km away and Habarana Lake is 14 km from the bed and breakfast. The room is very clean, bed is soft and comfortable, bathroom is clean, nothing to complain about. Above all that, the owner is a really friendly and earnest person. He and his family do everything a traveler needs with smile and they don’t talk about money at all. This fact distinguishes this honestly experience from any other places. He just want his guests to experience the srilankan lifestyle and its culture. He welcomed us with a nice sweet drink when we arrived there while we had a chat about the plan for the next day. He suggested that we should go see the sunrise from a rock and he even drove tuktuk for us to get to the rock at 5am. His wife prepared traditional srilankan breakfast so we can eat after the surise hiking. By staying in this hostel, you can experience the local srilankan culture to the fullest!!! You need to go to this place!

The cottage itself was super clean and comfortable, providing a perfect space to relax. We had a great night's sleep, and the breakfast served was absolutely delicious! There are several restaurants, with just a short 10-minute walk away. We had the pleasure of dining at the brother’s restaurant, “Downtown,” where the food was fantastic and service was exceptional. The kindness and hospitality of the family truly made our experience unforgettable. I wish them all the success with their new business—they have so much to be proud of! If you're looking for a charming place to stay, I highly recommend Sigiri Enaya Cottage. You won’t be disappointed!

The accommodation is small but perfectly sufficient. It is located in beautiful nature, where you wake up to the sound of peacocks and other birds. The surroundings are stunning, and the breakfast area is lovely. We recommend trying their traditional sweet Sri Lankan breakfast. It is definitely ideal for a family with children. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the city. The owner is great and helpful; he offered tuk-tuk rides to and from the city and also assisted with getting on the bus to Kandy. Thank you!

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the owner personally took us to Pidurangala Rock at 5:30 am by tuk-tuk to see the sunrise, and waited for us (extra fee). The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and truly authentic. As a lovely parting gesture, we received magnets during check-out. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and memorable experience!
