When staying at the guest house, guests can use private entrance. I had a wonderful stay at Tony's guest house. It is in a beautiful and peaceful location and the facilities where amazing. My room was comfortable and the shared bathroom facilities were clean and hot showers available. I took the bus from Georgetown which was quite long but very easy to do. I walked to the national park in 15 minutes and used Grab to do another trip which again was easy. I loved that I could cook in the kitchen available for guests! I felt very welcome so thanks to all who work there.

Best location for going to multiple tourist locations. Room looks exactly as in the picture. They even provided an extra mattress for my brother and all the extra amenities! Lovely people, oh they also gave us fresh bread, 1st day was coffee bread and the other day was orange bread. Amazing! Highly recommend this to people who are indecisive and have hard time deciding, like me. I went through multiple hotels and home stays and finally decided on this one and I must say, I’m blessed to have stayed here. Thanks to the owners for being so kind and nice. 💕

Self check in was welcome. Cannot fault the place. Would recommend. They have some deals with neighbouring cafes and restaurants to avail of discounts. A/C was very effective which was important given the heat.

The property is around 2 km from Penang Times Square, 8.2 km from Straits Quay and 8.2 km from Penang Botanic Gardens. Penang Hill is 9.4 km from the guest house and Queensbay Mall is 12 km away. What a difference a staff that actually cares can make. This is a small place with only a few rooms that has not been renovated to cram as many beds as possible in tiny box rooms for maximum profit, but a very chill home with a great vibe and staff that make you feel like part of the family. King Arthur was so helpful and sweet during our stay. The free breakfast changed everyday and always some great local food, not just butter/toast/jam (which is also available 24/7) And of course the cats were sweet and nice to play with, and if you let them, they will sleep in your room with you to enjoy the AC. They had a groupchat to let everyone know what events were happening in town and recommendations for food or day trips. And as many would like to know, soft comfortable mattress and hot water!

It is a perfect place for people wanting to escape the touristy hotspots on Penang Island. We loved it.

Very nice accomodation, very clean room with clean shared bathrooms, and there are so many sweet cats! The location is also perfect, in the middle of George Town. The host and landlady are very kind too, for examplehelping us in the middle of the night when we locked ourselves out of our room. Have I mentioned the cats already? They are the real reason you should book, you wíll lose time visiting Penang by petting them instead ;)
