The units include bed linen. Tara guest house is situated close to the town center but also far enough to enjoy quite, calm enviroment. It is close to the river where we could already find wild life (crocodiles and others) but it is safe. Guest house has nice terrase, from where we could observe working elephants walking the street. The staff is extremly nice, very helpful and with them we also had done the jungle walk, which was extraordinary experience. Definately take those 2 if you plan jungle walk.

The inn itself is perfectly located in my opinion: You’re away from the busy main road, but both the village centre and the bus station are easy to reach by foot within a few minutes walk. When I wanted to go to the neighboring village for a little trip, they also kindly let me borrow a bicycle. I went on two walking Safaris led by Isswor who has decades of experience in the area. We were accompanied by Ram as a second guide and both of them always managed to find great spots to have some close but respectful & safe animal encounters.

The food was really good - if you like bananas and pancakes i can highly recommend the banana pancakes there. All the staff was really helpful and wanted me to have the most amazing time and I really appreciate that. I was also very grateful for the welcome activity when I arrived to familiarise me with the place. I had a great guide for it as well as for my Safaris. Very knowledgable and skilled people. Everybody says that Nepali people are one of the friendliest people and looking at my experience I can only confirm that now. I was super impressed with the service, the owner Rhino land home stay made our stay very enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast set us up for the day. We organised the morning walking tour and Jeep in the afternoon which was the perfect way to enjoy the National park.

The property is also strategically located, just a short distance from Chitwan National Park, making it a convenient base for wildlife adventures. A special shoutout to Roshan, his colleagues, and the management team, whose warmth and professionalism truly stood out. Their genuine smiles and helpful attitude made our stay extra special. We also fell in love with their adorable dogs—one in particular was always smiling, and though we never caught its real name, we lovingly called it “Happy.” The other mischievous golden retriever was named Coco, which we overheard from the staff as it was always being called out to. One particularly memorable moment was when the staff performed a morning pooja. They even offered us Vibhuti as part of the ritual—a kind gesture we had to politely decline since we’d rushed down for breakfast and hadn’t yet showered! It’s rare to find a place where everyone—from the management to the housekeeping team—seems genuinely happy to be there. KC’s Home lives up to its name and is truly a home away from home.

As an added convenience, the bed and breakfast offers packed lunches for guests to bring on excursions and other trips off-property. very nice people .they are well organized and they are always on time.we did safari with them and saw many animals but not Tiger.the hotel is in the heart of sauraha.5 minutes walk to the river and all the Atm and shops.i heighly recomend this place.thanks for everything snd ser you again.
