We can see the Mouros Castle up on the mountain from our room on the 1st floor. The breakfast buffet is fresh and delicious! We were served freshly baked Croissants that make a perfect start of the day! Staff were helpful. We had a day out in Sintra till late in the evening but we were given good guidance on check-in and everything. We can feel that the hotel is taking every guest very seriously.

We wanted to have a special place for our anniversary, and Chalet Saudade really nailed it. Breakfast was the best we had on our stay in Portugal; green smoothies, fresh fruits, berries, and warm bakings with perfect coffee.

Our stay was really relaxing and comfortable with a lovely view. We enjoyed the chilled-out feel and aesthetic, thought the room was spacious, clean and comfortable and appreciated the variation and choice for breakfast. We also liked lounging both outside and inside and appreciated the staff being on-hand and attentive with recommendations (restaurants, beaches, wine-tasting). The area around the hotel is really lovely and chilled, we enjoyed walking to the local beaches and watching the dramatic Atlantic coast. We also highly recommend Azenhes do Mar Restaurante (about 5-10 minute walk from the hotel down by the beach and sea-pool) for incredible seafood and views of the sunset. Be warned that the local area has steep hills.
