Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Hotel grounds is picturesque. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is comfortable with appropriately thick sheets. Bathroom is clean with a high pressure shower. Milin Gusthouse was the perfect place for us to stay in Chiang Rai. The accommodations were very comfortable & we loved the peaceful location in the outskirts of the city, especially being walking distance to the river. What stands out most about Milin though are the incredibly kind and gracious hosts who blew us away with their big hearts and hospitality. My mother was ill and needed to see a doctor in Chiang Rai, and Alex went above & beyond to help us navigate the situation. He even drove us to the hospital! We are beyond grateful for the support we received from the entire family. Meeting them and experiencing their selflessness and incredible kindness was a highlight of our travels in Thailand.

Warin’s house is located in a small village in Wiang Kaen. It’s a cozy, quiet home built by the village, surrounded by nature, with a stunning view overlooking the Mekong River. We had a lovely night there—wish we could have stayed longer! Warin was incredibly kind and helped us arrange the slow boat to Luang Prabang, which made us feel so warm and welcomed. Highly recommended!
