Omar was amazing help en helped us with everything, he even booked us a trip in the Sahara and a Quad ride, the guides on the trips were so so so nice and we had a private tour. Tozeur was amazing and a next time I would stay here 100% again. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable and equipped with AC, there is cold fresh water you can take from the fridge and enough shadow points to escape the heat. It was a 10/10 experience. The breakfast was very good, a typical Tunisian breakfast but with many different options on the table! Also the hosts picked us from the airport and helped us find our way back up to the north of the country after our flight was cancelled. Very accommodating and responsive hosts.

The guesthouse also offers guided tours and we can highly recommend Said if you like high speed desert adventures! Really the highlight of our stay. It’s a bit far to the city centre if you don’t have a car, about 30min, but if you’re looking for something a bit cheaper in Touzeur we can definitely recommend it!

Rooms were nice and clean, the best linen and comfortable beds in Tunisia. Rooftop was nice, we enojoyed reading there. I would have wanted to stay longer in Dar Maya. I am really thankful for everything they had prepared.

The owner and staff are professional and also very welcoming. They offer a good Tunisian dinner at an extra cost which is great if you don’t fancy venturing into the local streets to find a safe supper. If we come back to Tozeur , will definitely stay in Villa Taouzert.
