This beautiful, well located place is a true gem. Everything starting from the welcoming arrival and our departure was so perfect that it is hard to imagine anything more than what we had. There was also a personal touch that you rarely meet with. The almost 100 years old house as such is is already an experience, not to mention the abundant fresh breakfast. Instead of one day, we could have stayed for one week... Highly recommend this place, you will not get disappointed!

I thought the bed was very comfortable. Liked that I could run the ceiling fan. The coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave were very clean and convenient. There was lots of supplies to use as well. The property was close to major roads a nd highways.

The house is beautifully finished, the rooms are spacious and the rain forest shower was awesome. We used the bikes to cycle to the wineries and enjoyed relaxing outside at the firepit in the evening.

Out of all the accommodations I booked during my travels in the United States, this has been the most exceptional one. From the moment the door opened, I felt at home and really, really welcome. The landlords are amazing people, who will go out of their way to make their guest feel comfortable. I actually spent hours chatting with them instead of exploring the area, because they were just so interesting and easy to talk to. In addition to amazing conversation, I even got treated to a piano recital in the evening. So while Sayville may not be the most thrilling place you could think of, I would consider coming back just to stay at the "Come as you are Inn" again. Also, I suspect, it may be difficult to find another B&B with a great cook and a great pianist under the same roof. Breakfast was lovely, the bedroom and bathroom were great, there was not a thing to complain about in that house. I got offered lifts, I was allowed to do some laundry (mine, not theirs :)) - things that aren't for granted and which I very much appreciated. The B&B is within walking distance to the train station, if you don't have a car. It's also just a few minutes' walk to the Main Street with shops, cafés and restaurants. There's a big supermarket nearby. One could even walk to the ferry terminal to Fire Island within 20-40 minutes (depending on your pace). My stay at the "Come as you are Inn" has been an extraordinary experience and I'm very glad I stopped there.

The location is very good n everything is walking distance even the beaches , market , etc . Montauk is also 20 minutes drive . Also the property is very clean n the chef Paul is very attentive n understanding n can alter his dishes to ur palate. Shiela n Linda at the front disk were really helpful.

It is beautiful, has an excellent location (1 min from FIP ferry) and the facilities, especially the Japanese garden and pool, are stunning. Another review complained about bathroom products; they now have Malin+Goetz, which is a luxury brand. And one mentioned the staff wasn’t friendly: Mike was excellent, made us breakfast, and sangria, so either it was an off day or the customer. Overall, this is the only place I want to stay in FIP.
