Located 5 minutes’ walk from Coronado Beach, this historic B&B features luxurious guest rooms with fireplaces and ceiling fans. Free WiFi and a daily breakfast are included. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It was nice to sit and relax for happy hour with drinks and appetizers. The location was great and nice clean room. The breakfast was really good in the morning. The only thing was our room key got deactivated because my husband put it in his pocket with his phone. Don’t put it anywhere your phone. Will definitely stay again.

We spent 7 night at Kate Stanton Inn and could not fault the service and kindness we received from the wonderful Liz and Carol who run this exceptional b&b. Our ensuite room was beautifully decorated, very clean and was serviced every day. The bathroom was a good size with a lovely large shower and had all the facilities we needed to make this a very comfortable stay. Liz and Carol welcomed us into their home, they are great company to spend time with and lots of fun. Breakfast was served to us in the communal dining room along with other guests. We met lovely, interesting, fun people and had some great conversations over breakfast which was delicious and different each day. There was no rush for us to leave the table with plentiful amounts of tea and coffee available. When we returned during the afternoon we were greeted by Liz and Carol and shared a glass (or two) of wine with them at their invitation. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kate Stanton Inn and would not hesitate to recommend this b&b to anyone hoping to stay in the Encinitas area.
