MonacoThe hotel is in a very good location, a 10-minute walk to the centre of Santa Margherita, which filters out most of the confusion. Ideally palced for the visit to Portofino (the bus stops in both to/from directions are right in front of the hotel). The facilities offered are what can be expected from a 4-star hotel, with comfortable rooms and a good breakfast (although there was a coffee-making machine and not a "proper" barista). The staff was very welcoming and helpful (they added the breakfast at a competitive rate), either at the hotel and the parking (a huge bonus for Santa Margherita, although moderately pricey at EUR 20 per day). Another bonus for the check-out deadline at noon and the extended breakfast time untile 10.30.

HungaryWe liked everything. Comfy bed, practical but still stylish furnishing. Metro is three minutes walk away so easy to reach the train stations too. Easy walk round in the centre or more even if there was a strike. We only used public transport. Plenty of good restaurants around as you would expect in such city. Just like the charming city we are happy to go back.

The location was perfect, just around the corner from the city center, and a close walk to the port and the main walking street. The hotel itself is fine, no parking on site but there is an underground parking just a few minutes away by foot at 25 eur per day. The rooms are a bit dated, but comfortable enough. Has all the amenities you need and also hot pot for tea. Breakfast was included and had typical Italian foods. Was good enough for a short stay. Location was very convenient, since you are in the historic downtown, very close to the port. Room was on a small size for 4 people, but this is Italy, and usually rooms are not that big.
