Jorge, our host was very helpful and hospitable. The boat ride to Playa Blanca was beautiful. The beach itself was nice and 3 friendly pups made our visit more enjoyable. The artist were working when we were there and their paintings, photographs and masks were beautiful. A unique place to stay in Portobelo.

The rooms are spacious and face the river and the huge pool is beautiful in a tropical setting and with a great bar but does close at 5.30pm. There is a buffet restaurant and food at the bar which is good value. There are a whole variety of tours to choose from and the free local Chunga trail is excellent. The boat trip to Lake Gatun is very good and monkeys actually board the boat.

The room was very comfortable and the view is the best along the waterfront of the whole town. Breakfast is simple, but tasty. Most of the staff doesn't speak English, but all are friendly and will do their best to help. Emily was the main point of contact via WhatsApp prior to arrival and was very friendly and accommodating with discussing what we'd like to do/see and connecting us with local boats/guides. The hammock and attachment points on the private balcony/porch are a wonderful touch.

My niece works at the Smithsonian Institution and my sister & I decided to stay at this resort to be close to her. Our room had incredible views. The hammock was relaxing and an added bonus. The room was always clean. All of the facilities had beautiful views. I did two tours the boat tour and walking tour. Both were amazing and very reasonably priced. The pool is spectacular and a cool outdoor bar you can swim up to. I would highly recommend this resort

Location was walking distance to Garrote so accessibility to boat rides to Isla Mamey was good. Nice tropical environment and the property operators were very friendly.

Good location. Has its own shuttle boat from the mainland. The included breakfast has a range of choices, all quick good. Owner's attention to details and willingness to see help guests was outstanding.
