What a brilliant place to stay. Part communal living, part casual resort, part family-style retreat, we were delighted by the subtle touches and care that staff provided in our too-brief stay. Large, spacious, comfortable room, with welcoming bed and exquisite pillows; an oversized bathroom with great shower. Lovely balcony beneath shaded trees. And the extras: we came home from a day of exploring to find our room tided, clothing we had hung over a chair rail on the balcony to dry hung neatly on a drying rack that had escaped our view; bedding neatened and sleeping attire folded and left atop the duvet. We didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast, but used the spacious, well-equipped kitchen to prepare an evening meal for a break from expensive and mediocre Swiss cuisine in the area, which was a welcome break. We also prepared our own breakfast in the morning before departure on the last day. Quiet, comfortable, extremely reasonably priced - we highly recommend a stay.

I spent a fantastic night at the artroom villa! This place is pure magic, with its design details, (you get very curious and happy). When you first enter the magical garden the whole wonderful experience begins and for an instance you think that you might actually entered in a sort real and very beautiful fairy tale... When you, (if you're lucky!), happens to meet the lovely and supercool host, well... then it can't get any better! The whole experience is pure bliss and I will ALWAYS want to return to this amazing place!

An absolutely great apartment, very cosy, spacious, in a superb location. The great option of pool and sauna. Basic breakfast with bread, cheese, jam (homemade) and orange juice was enough to get the day off to a good start. Both tea and coffee was available with pods. Little garden area to sit in for breakfast and evening drink was ideal. Location literally next to the railway station was ideal giving easy access to both Thun and Bern without need of the car. Hosts couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, giving advice on what to see in the area.
