Owners are nice people :) I liked the appartment its a little strange, but its cool though. The owner is an architect, and the building is i guess an experiment. Its very compact and does go vertical. I didnt do any cooking but the kitchen seems complete. There is no need for cooking restaurant around the corner is pretty good.

Very lovely hosts, super helpful, they are the perfect people when you fly to Costa Rica for the first time (helpful tips and bunch more, they know English and other languages well). I would give 11/10. Tasty homemade breakfast. The place is in an apartment complex behind a guarded gate (you also live with the hosts)

Idyllic gardens with many viewpoints from which to soak in the amazing landscape. Phil is a great host, lovely to chat to and listen to all his stories about the ranch and Costa Rica. His coffee is exceptional. It was the perfect stay for a late afternoon landing at the airport & breaking the journey to Tortuguero or Puerto Viejo.

Location was excellent, beautiful views, great staff. Close to many walks and forest areas. Bed was comfortable room was a good size, had a balcony with fireplace but the wood was damp so it didn't burn well. We had booked 3 nights left after 2 and the owner was very accommodating

I loved the atmosphere and colorful Costa Rica vibes of this place. It's very artsy, green, and just what you need for a relaxing stay. The people are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was amazing with fresh fruits, juices, and delicious coffee. Highly recommended!
