The apartment is incredible. The location is exceptional. Less than 5 minutes walk away you can reach two car parks and a supermarket (Alvi). The back balconies are perfect for breakfast with a coffee. The bedding was very clean and elegant apartment, overall it was very clean. I could repeat. The apartment is incredible. If I could give 10 stars, this apartment would get them! I am just back from a three day trip to lovely Schwerin, my first - but definitely not last- visit to this interesting old city with a lot of history. I was attracted to Dirk’s apartment because it promised quiet rooms and we only had to climb up one flight of stairs ( travelling with my 90 year old mum, this was paramount). And the apartment kept what was promised! A peaceful oasis with a big balcony overlooking apple trees ( and some other apartment buildings). We were really lucky with the weather and had breakfast in the sun. Everything we needed was supplied- lovely bedding, comfortable very big double bed and sofabed, cuddly fleece blankets, soft and plentiful towels. The kitchen was superbly equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob, even a dishwasher! Toaster, kettle and coffee machine. Proper beautiful wine and champagne glasses, stylish crockery, plenty of spices, coffee and filters. There’s a washing machine in the spacious bathroom. Lots of great artwork in all rooms. I adored this place and wish I could stay forever!! It’s situated 5 minutes‘ walk from the dome and old town with its many shops, restaurants, cafés and icecream bars. And as for Dirk- a heartfelt THANK YOU for all your help and advice and immediate replies when we were delayed on the train journey! Dirk was incredibly proactive and helpful and made sure we were supremely comfortable. Highly recommended!!!!

Perfect place! Big apartment and really comfortable with all you need! The kitchen is ver big so you can cook. Outside you can find a beautiful garden with apple tree, amazing! The location is perfect! Very close to the city centre and the castle, you can find a supermarket very close. We had a perfect time there!

Everything was absolutley perfect with this apartment! It is such a nice and clean apartment, easy to find via GPS and perfectly located near the city center and the castle. Jens and Sandra were super nice hosts and very helpful both before and during our stay. The kitchen has everything you need and more for a holiday stay! The bed is great, super comfy and also it is so appriciated that it's a whole doublebed and not two single beds pushed together. There is also a smart TV so you can connect with your own netflix/amazon/youtube account. WiFi was also great! Me and my husband are so happy with out stay, it exceeded our expectations and we look forward to coming back here in the future!

Beautiful, spacious partment, spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed, good shower. Lovely location by a small marina. Parking right outside. Didn't try breakfast but it looked good. The bus terminus for Schwerin is about a 4-minute walk, slight incline, and a little dark at night but the area is residential and quiet. The kitchen did not include a microwave but the welcome pack suggested asking for anything not included so perhaps they supply on request. There is a supermarket, Rewe, a Rossmann and petrol garage about 3-minute drive. Not many restaurant options in the area but the local bus gets you into Schwerin in ten minutes. Highly recommended.
