The pension sits above the harbor. The views were nice. The breakfast was good. The owner and staff were wonderful and friendly. The public parking is easy and free. The town is worth the visit. It offered history, community, food, beaches, and hiking. The town was fun to walk around. Beautiful sunsets within a short walk.

Aristondo Pentsioa was an ideal place to stay. I'm on the Camino del Norte and pick this place to stay 2 nights and take a rest day. The location and the room were wonderful. It was the people who made it extra special. Joaquín and his crew are helpful, kind, and gracious hosts. Their restaurant below was a bonus. The town was also a treat to visit. I hope to return one day.

The property is on a hill in a rural area just a short 5 min drive to the town and esplanade with cafes. The room was very clean and very large with a large comfortable double bed with a lovely view of the town and sea. The parking was plentiful even for our large van. Naroa was so welcoming, spoke excellent English and gave us lots of local information and the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was a lovely end to our stay. Thanks Naroa we’ll be back!

The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by hills and just 15 mins drive from Zumaia. Lots of hiking trails nearby. The grounds are well-kept and Anais is a superb host. She is discreet, yet very friendly. Our children loved the animals, spending a lot of their time with the donkey, dogs, chickens and rabbits.

    The setting was unique and convenient. It was easy to hope on a bus to visit other nearby locations. Our lovely hostess went out of her way to make us comfortable and deal with the unforeseen challenge of a triathlon event in the village while we were there.

    Location of the hotel is best in town. Just at the edge of the village and on the harbor, it is between both tourist attractions. Its not in the village, so not noisy at night and rather quite. Harbor View from breakfast room should be one of the best places to see the harbor. Breakfast was also nice Spanish style breakfast.

    Andres is a fabulous host, the location is stunning with breathtaking views along the Basque coast across to France. It is a straightforward walk into the village to get to the bars and restaurants and enjoy a glass or two of Txakoli. The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped.
