This was the best home stay I’ve had, and I am a very picky traveller. The room exceeded expectations. Our host Paul is so thoughtful and you can see it in the small details in the house. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the house is very stylish and the location is close to the center of the village and Gorges du Verdon.

Located in the centre of this cosy town, everything is accessible. Spacious apartment with a washing machine. Everything was very clean. Parking was in a public parking space in front of the room, although on Wednesdays and Saturdays you cannot park there because of the local market. Then you have to use a parking place nearby (free - and was safe for us - but you never know).

Excellent place to stay if you come for the lavender and the Verdon gorges in summer. the property is located in Montagnac, a very small town, ~16 miles east to Valensole. Quiet location, love the nice garden, where you can enjoy the healthy breakfast, surrounded by the lavandin scents and the beautiful morning sunshine. The location is close to the Verdon Gorges. Owners are nice and warm-hearted, gave us the directions to explore Verdon Gorges.

- Briggite & Sebastian were excellent hosts. I loved breakfast they prepared. I usually wake up late but for them I didn't. - The property is really tranquil, good for a small getaway from bustling city. - My room, "Verdon", is kind of like a hotel room size? Good for a couple or solo traveller. - Mahina was lovely, she followed me during one of my morning walks to the lavender fields - Glad to stay, will definitely revisit if I come back to France.

We received a lovely warm welcome on arrival from Julie and her beautiful family. We absolutely loved the apartment in the heart of their very rustic and charming garden with the beautiful sounds of the water flowing, ducks quacking and stunning trees, the weeping willow…amazing! The location for us, was ideal as hobby photographers. We were 6 minutes drive from the lavender fields and another 20 the far side to more amazing views and lavender fields, great location for the early sunrise photos. Julie was so helpful to us with getting transport and recommending places to go. The apartment was a 5 minute walk into the village which is small with a few shops/restaurants but with a vehicle, you can venture further afield. We enjoyed the village of Valensole, strolling the different streets, hilly but lovely, again rustic and a certain charm to it. The apartment was quaint, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The air con was great, good bathroom water pressure etc plenty of dishes in kitchenette for self catering, a good cold fridge. I loved the subtle scent of lavender on my pillow when settling in at night. No wifi which was great, we had mobile data on our phones and it was lovely to switch off from the phones more while on holiday. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the mornings and evenings (candles provided) very relaxing and peaceful. Overall, a really lovely place for us and we thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t thank Julie enough for all her help and friendly welcome throughout our stay ❤️

Lovely pool and grounds well off the road. 3 minute drive to Riez village for a quick meal. Comfy beds. Generous breakfast included. Very helpful staff.

    Bastide is located at a ranch at the edge of a village named Riez. It is a clean, simple, and quiet place in nature. The owner, Gijel, is a super nice lady. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place, located at Verdon center, it may be exactly what you want.

    Beautiful stay in Casa Augusta. Our host was lovely and very helpful from the start. The house is wonderful and the interior and rooms are beautifully decorated, very high attention to detail which is hard to come by! The place feels very luxurious & mimics that of a luxury hotel. Our room had a brilliant view towards the village. There was a lovely pool with another lovely viewpoint & a shared mini fridge to keep food/drinks.

    The host was extremely nice and helpful. He recommended great spots to eat and some amazing towns nearby. He was very helpful in both English and French. The view from the room's patio was breathtaking. We will absolutely book this villa for our next trip to Provence!
