A lovely house full of character, with partial use of top floor. It is in the middle of the countryside yet only 10-15mins drive from Laon. The drive through the small towns was lovely, having the opportunity to see the quaint architecture. Hosts were warm and friendly. We just stayed the one night. The double bed was sooo comfortable. They were happy to give recommendations for local restaurants. The breakfast was divine and plentiful. This is a lovely place I would come back.

La Besace is spotlessly clean inside and has a beautiful garden too. It's in a very peaceful spot and has all the facilities you need for a stay. The evening supper is delicious and so convenient, nothing is too much for the host and we highly recommend it.

The breakfast was fantastic with homemade jams, fresh bread and croissants. Our stay was excellent. Beautiful house, comfortable room. We were en route so being able to park the car in the courtyard was a great plus. The owners were lovely. Thanks for looking after us so well. We'll definitely return!

The place was wonderful! Even though we saw pictures before, we were amazed with the whole place and its conveniences! Parking there was super easy and closeness of the bakery, some restaurants and shops was very convenient.
