Great place to stay! Very spacious, we had 7 people and never felt like we were in each others way. Bedrooms were all great and would be lovely to sit on the patio if it were sunny. 10 minutes away from the little town of Bala which had plenty of shops, pubs and food to grab. Close to other locations and sights and within walking distance of a few lovely views. Top stay!

The apartment is beautiful and it’s location right on the lake ensures you have a peaceful and beautiful escape. The view over the lake is spectacular and it was lovely to see all the wildlife and birds whilst relaxing and enjoying the view sat on the balcony with a good book and a cup of tea. Easy to find from the directions provided and the hosts are lovely.

The house was very clean and cozy , it’s In great location , there was nothing complicated about the house , House had a shed so was a big bonus for was as we had motorbikes with us and it was good peace of mind, knowing the bikes were locked in the shed at nite , easily fit up to 5 bikes , 10out of 10 from me and the lads ,

This was our second visit to Hen Ysgubor. The hosts are very helpful and on site if there are any issues. The property is excellent for a restful get away, well furnished and comfortable. Everything you could wish for. We would definately recommend it. Extremely clean and tidy and has stunning views from both the front and back of the property. We will be returning.

It is a beautiful location with wonderful veiws. It's a quiet secluded location which blends into the natural surroundings. The only noise at nighttime was the wildlife. I would recommend this place to anyone for a peaceful getaway. Beatrice was a wonderful host who was so helpful and friendly

    Really nice, cosy place to be Really good breakfast, I had salmon with scrambled eggs and I must say that salmon portion was really big compare to other places where you need to look for salmon hiding on the plate. I had small room but double with it, which was really nice travelling solo. Tea tray with small bottle of wine did the trick with me very well. I'll coming back to the village in the next three months and definitely stay here again.

    Beautifully decorated and kept, this is a lovely little house in a quiet, picturesque village ideally located for Y Bala and Llyn Tegid. Great communication from hosts who even left some little treats for our arrival. Will certainly be coming back!
