Charlie and Lucy are very kind and thoughtful souls, making sure that your stay is so memorable and pleasant that you want to return. They even took time to show my grandchildren all their animals. Dormouse Cottage is in a great location, situated in the middle of the village within close walking distance to the pubs. The cottage is quite small but perfect for a couple and small dog. There was plenty of hot water and warmth, the bed was incredibly comfortable. We eat in the Anchor Inn and the Three Horseshoes, both were good. Everyone we met was friendly and dogs are welcome everywhere. The sea and beach are in walking distance or you can drive to Hive beach where there is a great cafe with car park. Bridport and it antique market is only a 10 minute drive. We were here in winter and it was not busy.

Lovely cottage in great location. Bedrooms we're really comfortable - beds, duvet, pillows super comfy. Night lights with sensors on the stairs were really helpful to find your way to the bathroom in the night. Kitchen and sitting room had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely views all around, we even spotted a rabbit. Parking outside, really convenient. Location made it easy for us to get to Lyme Regis, Abbotsbury and Bridport. Perfect for the 3 of us.
