Communication with owner was fare above average, friendly and informative. Easy walking distance to Highlander Inn or Craigellachie Hotell for a meal. Wifi worked well and the setting of The Fiddichside Inn must be experienced to understand it. A perfect place to stay if you are in the area for hiking, salmon/trout fishing, photographing, distillery experiences, Scottish history and lots more. Surely a go back to place!

We highly recommend it to anyone planning to stop in the area. • Such a lovely host • Delicious breakfast in the morning • Theresia makes her own jams, which were absolutely delicious (unfortunately we couldn’t take any with us due to hand luggage restrictions) • Nice little gifts in the room • Lots of amenities in the room (fridge, coffee machine, TV)

Wow! This is a stunning house with beautiful surroundings. Our bedroom was large and luxurious. Colin and Sarah are amazing hosts. Their evening platters and breakfasts are exceptional. Even chilled our limoncello for us! If you are after a quiet haven this is the place for you but still close enough to be amongst the distilleries and close to Aberlour.

    Location. Decor. Facilities. Spacious. All very good. An excellent base from which to explore and enjoy the magic of Speyside. Lovely wee village. Great whisky bars just across the road. Nice walks down to the river with the dog. Highly recommend this property.

    Lovely and quiet yet easy to get to the village and everything else to see in Speyside. The staff took great care of us. Our breakfasts and dinner was exceptional. We will definitely stay again on our next trip back to Scotland.

    It was an ideal setting for having a relaxing break with plenty of parking and easy access to main roads and local village . Great location for touring Speyside also has a relaxing bar with great selection of malt whiskies and evening meals available .
