Impeccably clean with attention to the finest detail. It had everything I needed and more. The owner is incredibly attentive throughout the stay. This accommodation is the perfect stay for anyone visiting Loch Ness. I loved the cats greeting me in the morning and night for their snack. I will surely be back for another visit and recommend this accommodation to anyone in the future!

We immediately fell in love with this B&B. What a lovely place, sweet owner and great care! We loved the breakfast with homemade jams and other goodies. Everything is neat, beautiful and surrounded by great garden and nature.

The whole building, to start. So impressive! The stairs up were a challenge but worth the effort. The key in a box with our name made me feel welcome! Immense room, a similarly huge bathroom and the communal area quite incredible. The fridge full of goodies and breakfast all packed-up waiting for the morning. The tranquillity, the view, the wildlife. Out of the 6 places we stayed, this was my favourite.

Nice location within the walking distance to Urquhart castle. It was a one night stay only and we never had a chance to meet Sarah, but she left us detailrd instructions and we had no difficulties with finding the room. The beds were perfectly comfortable with many pillows and blankets. It was a bit small for 3 people, but we only were there for sleeping so it was fine. The bathroom had all thr necessaries. Absolutely great place for enjoying the nature of Scotland.

Everything was great. From the room, to Chris and Ellie, to the breakfast, my partner and I enjoyed every minute in Foyers, and our only regret was not staying for longer. We were lucky enough to have wonderful conversations with Chris and Ellie's pictures of Scotland were gorgeous. They helped us a lot with getting around Scotland and were gracious enough to stay up late and wait for our arrival when we were late for the check-in time after getting a bit lost in the highlands. The room was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. We even got to pet Peep the friendly rooster. Overall, I'll be waiting to return to Scotland one day and defiantly spend some more time around Loch Ness and in Foyers Bay in particular.

    Herons Rest was a lovely place to stay after touring the area..Very clean and everything you need is available..Village is a mile away ,so very handy for food,etc.Tea,coffee and a lot of the basics are supplied and a jar of tunnicks teacakes was a lovely touch..Will definitely stay again if I'm ever in the area
