The property was absolutely amazing. It was done tastefully and maintained very well. It was spotlessly clean all throughout the property. There were some games and books which the kids enjoyed. Wish we had brought some books as they had a book exchange policy and my mother started on a book but had to leave it behind because we didn't have anything to exchange 😄 There is a small garden with a bench where you can enjoy a cup of tea or have a meal if you wish, as the garden is also very well maintained. The beds and pillows were very comfy. I would go back just for that 😁. They had also left some Welsh cakes and we thought it was a very nice touch. We visited, Colwyn bay beach, Zip world at Betws-y-Coed and the Pontcysyllte aqueduct from there easily. They also had some other lovely suggestions for visiting in their guidebook. Maybe next time we stay there we can do those, cos we will definitely be booking with them again 🙂

A fantastic location in the glorious Welsh countryside. Relax by watching the sheep or soaking in the hot-tub after a day exploring. Never stayed in a pod before, and we weren't disappointed. Comfortable and cosy with all the facilities that we needed for a short break. Ideally located to explore North Wales.

It was in a lovely pretty small historical town of north wales. every detail had been thought of and in new condition. The hot tub was amazing and extremely clean and well maintained. we even got to feed baby lambs on Easter Sunday brought to see us by the owner.

Beautiful and calm environment. We are working remotely and we wanted a change of scenery so we decided to book a long stay at the barn and work from the country side. The hosts were so welcoming and always there to help if we needed any help or any recommendations. The barn is beautifully set and decorated, it felt like our own home. Our dog had the time of his life, playing freely with the hosts' dog. The location is great, with many villages near it for food and groceries as well as amazing hiking spots. We left and 2 weeks later we were back and will definitely visit again! Couldn't recommend more

Found by chance, Ty Derw Country House at Ruthin is a real secret tip. Lovely arranged flat, everything has it's place and is well thought out. Beautiful landscape, very quite surrounding. That was one very memorable, unique and mystical experience. We were welcomed late at 11:30 p.m. (late reception was very convenient for us) by the old gentlement who was very sweet, he've showed us many halls and told a bit about the history of the place. We didn't know it was a haunted house but you get the feel from the place at night. Long corridors, beautiful common rooms, we had a spooky late night as If were in the movie. Good breakfast, very nice new rooms. And morning walks around the castle, gardens and feeding peacocks were fantastic experience. Can't recommend it enough
