There was nothing not to like about this property. Right from the booking stage our experience was excellent. The property information guide sent in advance was excellent. Entry via a door code was seamless. The property in as beautiful as the photos, everything you need is there for a wonderful stay. Rooms were really comfortable and the design and finish are excellent. We were in Stamford for an event, so did not get to sped as much time as we would have liked in the property, as the facilities are outstanding. This is the perfect property for a self catering stay with friends or family. I think this property works well for a summer stay or a cosy winter stay too. Perfectly located within walking distance of so many nice bars and restaurants, as well as supermarkets and bespoke shops. The hosts were really responsive when we have one small issue which was down to user error lol. We were all sad to leave this lovely property.

Beautiful decor and furnishings, everything immaculate. Great location easy walking into Stamford. We were a group of 4 ladies (aged 50+) , found it great . Futon bed smaller than a single but ok for 5ft 4 person . Overall - fab !

The accomodation was a converted farm building. Very well designed with a luxurious finish. We loved the quirky puzzle to solve for our bottle of Prosecco. The cider stash was also good. Was a very comfortable and quiet stay. If only we had found it earlier in our travels we would have stayed more than one night.

    Such a pretty village and a pretty building, lots of space for parking, friendly staff. We didn't have breakfast but we did have dinner which was large portions and very tasty. The room had a lot of space, we booked a double and the mattress could do with a topper for a bit more comfort but it was ok. The bathroom was large and with a bath. The room looked onto a the main road with some traffic noise but this wasn't bothersome. A good value room in a lovely location and I would stay here again.

    Property and location was lovely. The only downside was getting to the local village (Baston) on foot. No footpath on the main road. Stamford is a charming town for a visit.

    Everything! The cottage was beautiful, the setting is amazing, there is a young orchard with free range chickens right outside your living room, we were even offered a couple of eggs for breakfast. The village is pretty. And they even threw on a bottle of prosecco, which they set up clues to find. Basically, amazing!!

    There was nothing to dislike - everything was perfect! Extra touches really made our stay special, the staff are wonderful and informative and the hut itself it’s gorgeous. We could not believe how secluded and peaceful it felt, the village is so picturesque. Amenities are great, powerful shower and cosy log fires with a comfy king sized bed. Cannot wait to return. What a wonderful stay!

    The property was excellent, very clean and comfortable and in a good location. The kitchen was very well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine which would have been great for longer stays. The property is in the heart of the town close to shops and supermarkets. Great for site seeing in the town. The town itself is close to Rutland water only 15 minutes drive away with all that has to offer, Nature reserve and water sports in the summer. There are other interesting villages and smaller towns nearby too.
