Lots of natural light from the many windows, that let you look out onto the amazing view. Location was perfect, you can venture out to local villages easier enough. We had read the previous reviews which sounded exactly what we hoped for. We weren't disappointed. The accommodation was perfect for us and the village is quiet, lovely and friendly. Caldbeck is well placed for the hiking routes we had planned. We used her so that we could walk up some of the Wainwright hills, so she was perfect for our stay. Very quiet little village, so if quiet is what you want then that's what you get.
