Maro, Maria and Meri have the perfect apartments for people who wants a quiet night and have dinner and breakfast by the sea. You can fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of waves if you want to. Have dinner there aswell, enjoy their food and eat and drink slow. The ocean is right next to you. We received so many mezes when we arrived and the meatballs were amazing. The apartment was clean, the towels and bedding smelled newly washed and like flowers. Except for the bed being a bit hard (I have a bad back) everything sas spot on! I will definatly be back. Manos is a great host. He has stocked the house with basic foods and supplies as well as given us good advice about where to go including the beach that we visited almost every day. The southern coast is not as touristy as the north side and around the house it's mostly quiet. The small town of Makry Gialos is easily reached by car with great restaurants and some other attractions. One day we went windsurfing to the north coast which was a one hour ride. We will very likely return.

The room is tiny, but nothing really was missing: there was plenty of space to store our luggage. Everything that we used worked fine, from WiFi to the shower. The location was great, close to the Gorge of the Death (which is a great place to visit for some hiking), facing the sunrise in the morning. The beach and the restaurants aren't far either.
