It is located in the Chora of Kythnos, near a supermarket and the wonderful town square that comes alive in the evenings. Mrs Evangelia who gave us the keys was really sweet, warm hearted and helpful. The house was clean, newly refurbished and well-airconditioned. It is bright and has a lovely small yard you can sit to drink your coffee.

The hosts were fantastic and so was the accommodation. Fantastic view and you deserved it after driving or walking up the steep hill. Parking right outside the door if you need it. The host even dropped us off at a remote beach as there was no public transport to get there. The accommodation was comfortable for the 3 of us and had everything we needed. The location is great and it is an easy walk to the many restaurants on the waterfront. I think we chose the best town on this island and really enjoyed our stay. We also did 2 hikes to the castle and to the nearby town which was lovely. In the morning the hills gave us a good workout on our daily run.

Our room was at the top of the beautiful building with stairs up. Everything was working well, bathroom, kitchen and air conditioning. The bed large and comfortable. Very clean and well maintained. The balcony was fantastic, large and with a table and chairs. You could sit in both sun and shade. View of the harbor and the small town. Zoe, our hostess, was very helpful and informative. Within 10 minutes we could walk to the ferry, several restaurants, bars, several supermarkets, car rental and two beaches, one with sunbed and umbrella. After checking out, we could store our suitcases.

Stayed at Larerooms 2 and it was exactly as described. No surprises, just as shown in the photos, which is always a good start. The location is ideal: just a 5-minute walk from the port, close to cafeterias, restaurants, and a supermarket, making everything super convenient. The room offers a beautiful view of the port and sunset, which was a lovely bonus. The space is well-maintained and clean, with all the basic amenities: cutlery, coffee maker with capsules, some biscuits and marmalade for a light snack, and even simple cooking essentials. It really had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But what truly made the experience outstanding was Maria, who manages the property. She was simply EXCELLENT - responsive, helpful, and kind. There wasn’t a single request she didn’t assist with. Her support added a personal touch that made our stay even more memorable.

The service was exceptional. We were originally staying in the emgard house but upon arrival there was construction and the main water pipe for the town was being replaced, as a result the houses had no water. So they upgraded us to the ‘emgard suites’ at no extra cost. Upon arrival to the suites the service was very friendly and helpful. The suites where beautiful with easy access and panoramic views of the town. A truly wonderful experience! (This is based on the emgard suites)
