The host Mate warmly welcomed us and gave us excellent recommendations for a walk to the river Zrnovnica, a local product called soparnik under UNESCO protection. The location is quiet and peaceful, perfect for resting, sleeping and staying in nature, and also a great start for exploring Split and Omis with their beaches, which are only 15 minutes' drive from the villa.

We loved everything from the hospitality we received to the food we were invited to have with the owners of the property. They really made us feel part of their family 👪. I have been in the hospitality industry from 5 star hotels to having my own little chain of bars and restaurants for 25 years and I must say Goran, his Mom, and Dad are people that we can all learn from about how to be hospitable. The house and grounds are fantastic and Marko and Roberta were incredible hosts who couldn’t do enough for you. Marko is available at any time, hand delivering a home made cake and charcuterie board and also helped us hugely when one of our party needed some medical help. The outdoor space in particular is a joy and everything is very well thought out making life very easy, exactly as you want on holiday.
