This place exceeded my rather high expectations - I had such a wonderful stay here. The location is stunning with breathtaking jungle views and sounds - so lovely. The pool area is the best to suck it all in. Or from your own terrace if you have a room with jungle view. The staff is incredible, very service minded and attentive in a pleasant, discrete way. Thank you so much for your warm welcome and hospitality. I had an aroma therapy massage and facial at the Spa which were very good value for money too. The hotel itself is designed beautifully with a lot of taste and character. If that is not enough there is Indonesian art everywhere with explanations about its origins. It is done in a very tasteful and subtle way, if you are interested you can take a lot of enjoyment from looking around because literally everywhere you find beautiful art pieces. But if you are not the art just blends in with the furniture. I climbed mount Bartou to see the sunrise organised by Awan and that was absolutely worthwhile too. Crowded with other tourists though which I personally thought was a pleasant variation to the peace and quiet of the villa but if you want to avoid any crowds go bushwalking or explore other more quiet activities. Absolutely amazing place and I definitely hope to be back.

Definitely one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Most importantly people were amazing, warm, kind, welcoming and helpful. Hosts were helping me with everything, booking a trip, finding a driver, giving advice, informing about the jungle, they were aware of everything. On top of it the place is just breathtaking, the view, which you can stare at for the whole day, the swimming pool, the rooms, the food. Everything was perfect. The location is easy. There is a driver on the spot, as well as every taxi was able to reach the place. Wonderful experience.

It's in the middle of nowhere but the views are amazing. I didn't had a scooter which complicated a little bit because no drivers in the area. If you stay here go eat at Desa Baturiti restaurant 5 min walking.

Staff is really friendly and let you feel like home immediately. They do their best to make it a comfortable stay as possible, and informed us really well. Food was decent, and the stay was stunning. It's in the middle of the jungle, very peaceful and untouched. Great to reset, and embrace the nature. We'll definitely come back to this place.
