Holiday Rentals in Sabang

We had the most amazing stay at Seagate bungalow. The location is fantastic, a secluded bay with incredible snorkelling out front halfway between Sabang and Gapang. The bungalow has great hot shower, mini fridge, drinking water, tea and coffee, mosquito net over the bed, fan and even an hammock on the terrace. Plus Broja and Yunyun are the loveliest hosts, gave us great tips, and Yunyun prepares the best breakfasts. We never wanted to leave!

We had a really pleasant stay in Casa Nemo ! The place is just magic : wonderful sea view from the room, beautiful gardens trees and flowers all around the place, private beach and turquoise water, food from the restaurant is delicious, well decorated… The staff was so welcoming, kind and helpful. Thank you all the team it was just perfect. We will definitely come back again.

Diara Bungalow is the most amazing accommodation I ever stayed at. But If you’re just looking for luxury you’re wrong here. I never met so truly friendly and nice people as I met here. The owner Budi (and his family) aswell as Ridwan welcomed me with all there hearth at Diaras. It was really more than a accommodation you felt like home there. The bungalow is right at the ocean it’s amazing!!! You go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. As I said If you look for luxury you’re not at the right place but if you want a authentic beach accommodation, with a amazing view, good location and most importantly met people with truly good hearts do come here and you will make good friends and be very sad to leave! Thank you so much again, I really enjoyed my stay!

So many things to like. Location is great, away from the crowded village of Iboih, so quieter and sleeping with the gentle sound of the ocean was wonderful. The view of the sea from the bungalow veranda was pretty and a short walk down steep steps took you to the rocky foreshore from where we snorkeled. A good variety of reef fish, especially in the mornings, plus big clams and starfish. The coral around Sabang generally is not good compare to other parts of Indonesia (Karimunjawa, Flores) and fish stock was reportedly depleted during Covid when tourism stopped for 2 years. The bungalow was great with French doors opening wide to the verandah. We had a fan one rather than AC. There were nice touches, like a water fountain with hot water option to make coffee, tea and cup noodles, even a tea towel for the cups and plates, and a hot water shower. Very clean and well maintained. Wiggy was a helpful host, keeping us informed via WhatsApp of any events, and his lad assistant Riki was fantastic. Just down the hill there is a great dive shop Scubaholik rents snorkeling gear and will orangise and equip dive trips for those qualified to dive, snorkel and dolphin chasing trips from 2 to 20 pax.

We had the best time at Pele´s place, it has wonderful quiet location still close to restaurants and shops in the village nearby. For flying foxes, bird and monkey watching, we couldn´t have chosen better! :)

Budget room with aircond, near to Sumur Tiga beach, best and clean place

We stayed 3 nights at the Coco jungle homestay. The owner, Phillipe suggested it to us because we'll feel more comfortable. We did feel 100% The homestay is a charming and calm place. It's perfect to relax and stay connected with the nature. It has a swimming pool too. Phillipe helped us with everything giving us advises and information about the island and places to go. We rented a scooter with him too. The room is humble but cozy. Bed is very comfortable and everything is super clean. It had AC which is a plus. We had dinner, breakfast and lunch at the place. The food was delicious. It's the place to be in Pulau Weh if you want to disconnect and have a great time with a local family.
