Quit new accommodation, beautiful view directly on the volcano, wonderful owners who are really nice to the guests, we were only there for one night due to travel plans, they stored our luggage on the day of departure, let us shower after the tour and after check out, organized transport to another location, they were truly amazing.

Let's start with the first of many lovely things about this place: the landscape. One could just sit here for hours and stare at the mountains. The family running the place is just as lovely as the surroundings. They are quite putting and live to chat. The head of the family is the village leader, so there is a lot of knowledge about the region and many contacts for sightseeing or telling up the mountains. The family will cook lovely meals for you. What I also find very important is that this place is Indonesian owned (by the family themselves). It's a bit further away from the western tourist crowd which is also a plus in my book.

The view of Rinjani is wonderful. Fabulous staff. Pls note std room only has cold water in shower. Hot water is small extra price (recommend). Great hikes from here especially if a motor bike is hired. Brekky is great - French toast was our everyday one. A few restaurants nearby with western food. Or good Indo food too.

Sam the host & his wife were lovely,, Sam is very knowledgeable about the area & Mt Rinjani & is also such a character & speaks great English, lots of laughs, & great company so I stayed extra night, food was also great, Beautiful view from this place & great lil town nearby. Would thoroughly recommend staying here & I'll be back one day soon with my partner to climb Mt Rinjani, thanks for all your knowledgeable info Sam & fun memories, also great that there was no set checkout time,

The best host ever. We were welcomed by the entire family, waiting with coffee and biscuits and even offering the dinner. After they took us to some local celebrations in the village below, really cool :-) Views from the terrace are just amazing. We have got lovely breakfast, and stayed for a couple of hours, even if we had planned to leave early in the morning. Room is really basic indeed, but all above compensates it fully. This is the real HOME stay :-)

Lovely place with a beautiful garden and super nice and helpful owners, it was very interesting to exchange with them, I learned so many things about Lombok ! The rooms are simple and clean. The food is delicious. The location is good, not very far from the waterfalls and the rice fields.

An exceptional place to stay. Most authentic experience we’ve had during our stay in Indonesia. Our cabin was small but had everything we needed for our short stay before our volcano trek. The beds were super comfy and the cabin was spotless. Lovely shower too, didn’t expect that! But most of all the hosts were so lovely and made us feel so welcome. We chatted over dinner and learned a lot. It was a real personalised experience. We noticed a real sense of community and that made us feel like home.
