Holiday Rentals in Vered Yeriho

The hotel looked very good on the web site and to my pleasant surprise and unlike in many other cases, really matched the expectations. The hotel is located in a small village overlooking the amazing views of the dead sea, the Judea desert and the city of Jericho. The rooms are spacious , elegantly decorated , very well equipped and comfortable , especially the beds The weather was very hot (middle of august at the dead sea valley, but the air conditioning was excellent in all the rooms . At night though , it is cooler ,and you can relax at the 'chill out" rooftop of the hotel where you can have cold beer or wine and enjoy the breeze , the quietness of the desert and it's starry sky. One of the best things was the warm and caring hospitality of the hosts -VERED and her family whom always tried to anticipate our needs and were very eager to give precious information and tips with regards to travelling at the area. Try to get her husband to get you on a tour at the area. Not sure about the price but he was amazing and very knowledgeable and . can take you to all the special and secret jams of the area. Last but not list to mention is the family's restaurant called THE CHANCE- a very good and affordable kosher dinner that is situated close to the LIDO junction and serves a delicious home -made food. ALL TOGETHER A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE , THAT GIVES YOU A VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY!!

Its an absolutely exceptional and amazing place to be at the dead sea‘ I think you can never better live than here. Absolutely friendly staff, very clean, cosy and stylish. The breakfast was delicious and the way to beach and „lowest bar“ is the shortest and including the price! Great great great!!! Toilets, showers and the whole camp are so clean - staff so friendly - everything here is 10/10! Do the wake up before sun comes, you are alone and you see a beautiful sun coming.

Place was extremely clean, very well decorated, host was very friendly and kind. Fabulous facility with all-you-can-wish-for in the kitchen. Easy check in and check-out, easy access to interesting locations nearby.

We had an amazing time at the dead sea rooftop, the hosts were great so helpful and nice they made our stay magical. The rooftop is really big and has a breathtaking view on the dead sea and desert mountains. There is a very nice area to seat there and enjoy coffee or wine in front of the view. We also enjoyed the sunset in the Jacuzzi and made very sweet memories. The place is very peaceful and romantic especially during sunset and sunrise. The place is perfectly situated close to Ein Gedi, Qumran and numerous beaches on the dead sea and we had a lot of fun hiking and visiting the beautiful surroundings.

The apartment is in Jewish settlement. Very special experience. The place is very tidy and the facilities are fully sufficient. Enjoy very much to stay here. If I come to Dead Sea again , I will book this place.

Was just fantastic from beginning to end

I like because is Close to old city of Jerusalém.. in ten minutes by walking i can take the city trail ..the owner contact me for any change of my receptiom .. really nice place.,..

Mediterranean breakfast was filling and satisfying. the rooms were cleaned daily. for the money it is great value and very affordable. It is a residence attached to the Chapel of St. Thomas, where I daily visited. they make anyone welcome and Catholics in particular would like the images and statues around the building. You can get a cold beer at half the restaurant price up until midnight and nearby is the Olive Restaurant that serves meals even on the Sabbath at very reasonable prices and insist on the menu listed price to get the best price. That saved a lot of time and money.. If you do not insist on the menu price,, they add 30% for some reason. Across the road is St. Stephen's church where they have Mass daily. The church is wonderful. Mass the is not to be missed, even if it is in French. 300 metres down the road is the Damascus Gate, entry to the Old City. From there everything in the Old City is walkable, and I am 74 years young. the air conditioning was great and very quiet. At breakfast I got to meet various people and made friends. Saving the best to last, ALL the staff are wonderful and friendly and do all they can to make your stay comfortable. Nothing was a problem for the staff. No other place had that Syrian Church. . I asked for a refrigerator in my room and they responded immediately assuring me there is one. If not, ask for it because you need it to keep drinks and ingredients to make lunches. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. Around the corner shops sell snacks and drinks and the first automatic teller has cheap fees. It is not far to the train station and the train is one straight line that takes you to many places including the city center. People on the front desk happily helps with bus queries. It was far beyond expectations for the price and location. I cannot think of anywhere else to stay.

The best place we have stayed in if seveal years, Michael was alwas near by to help us. The breakfast was not continental, it was a full breakfast with different options. The location is exceptional so close to the 8th station of La Via Dolorosa. They even help us with services not really included.
