The host family was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was not only spacious but also impeccably clean. The breakfast was truly spectacular, earning a perfect 10/10 rating. Additionally, they offered welcome drinks and tea and coffee. They offered us a fantastic backwaters tour that includes a delicious homemade breakfast, a 3-hour boating session, and an amazing lunch. Overall stay was fabulous!!

The boat was really nice and well maintained. Did a nice cruise across the lake and into a smaller channel. Also did some kayaking which was all organised by Jos! Thank you. Everything was hassle free and the houseboat was nicely priced.

This homestay was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Right on a lovely beach where we could watch the fishermen come and go. We loved how peaceful it was and how clean the beach and area were. The hosts gave us great suggestions for a meal out, which was about 10minutes away and beachfront. We also enjoyed the meals we had at the homestay, particularly the Kerala style breakfasts. This homestay is so well cared for and the hosts are a really kind and generous family. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to others.

Provided a little more a/c than was promised. Fairly clean. A good trip. Optional extras like short canoe trip to village available. Helped with onward plans - kayaking.

    Tharas houseboat is very unique and traditional enriched with cleanliness , the staff were very helpful. The food was amazing we could try authentic kerala style food they served lunch on plantine leaf that was delicious, especially their pearlspot fry decorated with onion , carrot , lemon was suberb , we have seen backwater village area . When you come in Kerala you should take this place you will be definitely happy .

    We had a very good stay at Mayflower villa. The family room was spacious. Cleanliness was top notch. The host, Susan was extremely caring and guided us well for sightseeing and also took special care of our kids meals. We had our meals there and they were yummy authentic Kerala dishes. Definitely recommend staying at Mayflower Villa.

    Very good for us. Their village canoe cruise was amazing. Chilling on the backwaters under the moonlight, and dinner was great also. Everyone should do this tour. Johnson sir is an excellent host. Amazing garden in the host premises as well.
