First of all I really loved the location of Bloomfield! You have a beautiful garden and are surrounded by nature, which is lovely if you want to escape the more crowded Darjeeling centre. The full view of Kanchenjunga from the hill in the garden is the cherry on top! Also what made my stay here unforgettable was the staff. They took me in as family, provided really good homecooked meals and helped me wherever they could. Panda, Arun, Chitme and others: Thanks for making me feel at home and safe as a female solo traveller. Highly recommend!

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, scoree our only sighting of Kanchenjunga (due to cloudy weather), thanks to Prawesh for waking us up when the clouds were out of the way in the morning. Facilities were all good, roomy and clean too. Strong recommendation!

It was clean and well equipped. The rooms were pleasant and spacious, the staff was very kind and helpful. The location was convenient and central. The service at the hotel was excellent and the food was delicious. I highly recommend booking a stay at this hotel.
