The house is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you might need during your stay. Beautiful property with traditional tatami flooring in the upstairs bedrooms. Kitchen is well stocked and the place has nice amenities like towels, extra blankets etc. Bikes are free to ride around the city which I used to get to the 3 main shines, couldnt ask for anything more! Host was super accomodating and allowed me to check in an hour early, would stay here again.

The temple is located in nice place, but get there by bus need inquire the bus timetable in advance. night star view is beautiful. and morning zazen course is unique experience in my life.

The ryokan was amazing - the room was beautiful, the futons comfortable, and the staff was very nice and attending. The dinner was very delicious course of several luxurious meals,and the breakfast was a japanese served meal plus a small buffet. The outdoor shared onsen was great, we loved it. Women wear a hotel-provided swimsuit in the outdoor onsen. Men onsen is separated from women and they are open from 6 till 10 and then from the afternoon till midnight. We also tried the private onsen which is an extra charge and needs to be booked in advance and it was nice. There is also a possibility to arrange a massage in your room. The dinner is served at 5 and 7 pm. They provide a free shuttle bus to the station. We plan to definitely come back again in the future, it was a highlight of our trip.
