I have visited different places in Sri Lanka, but this is the most comfortable of all the villas where we have been. I think its price should be higher because the service, atmosphere and decor are top notch! I would really like to come back here again, because you can live in this place. very nice and kind family, where you feel at home or visiting friends! La Kurumba Oceanfront Villa is one of my favourite places in Sri Lanka, home like. I arrived in the late evening around 23:00. Host Thilaka, a very beautiful woman and Sampath welcomed me with big smiles. Sampath opened all the lights in the beach area and at this late hour he offered to make me a fresh meal in his bar which is right on the beach, so he did. He is a great chef and always makes delicious meals. I was very lucky straight after my arrival to see a turtle which came to lay eggs while I was having my meal. Next mornings Sampath brought me murunga and other special local green leaves, I was having green herbal juice every morning. Everyone was very helpful here. Manager Shiwantha helped me with other things I needed in town and around, he explained how locals live. I was so happy to experience local life. The local people in Ambalangoda town very friendly. The other person from La Kurumba organised me a massage and aloe vera drink. And Thilaka was very helpful as well. The vibe here in villa La Kurumba is amazing: palm trees, ocean, beautiful sea side, amazing and very comfortable room with big, wall windows and sea view, few steps from room to the sea, garden with lots of comfortable spots to relax or work on a laptop..., food is amazing, everyday fresh seafood and other things, coconut water, tuk tuk, scooter taxi's drop off to the center of town if needed. This villa is great for small group of people or family. To hear the ocean sound while sleeping and waking up with it was my favorite part. I didn't want to leave. I felt at home. Very grateful.

We liked the location, its next to the river. And with tuktuk or car You can go the beach, Ambalangoda or any pleace pretty easy. There is plenty of space inside and outside the villa. The Ganganada team took really good care of us and made sure we had the best time there. The food was truly amazing, especially seafood lovers will appreciate it. We will definitely be coming back.

The days here were just wonderful. This quiet place is 5 minutes away from the centre or the beach located directly beside the lake. Everything was just perfect, the welcoming, the rooms are very big, comfortable bed and very clean bath. You can live in the whole 1 floor with kitchen and terrace and also there is a washing machine for dirty clothes. I have never had such a nice experience with owners like that, they are so welcoming and helpful. they only want the best for you. Thank you for this time

    The villa was fantastic, stunning views, amazing to wake up to in the morning. The staff who are there all day make some amazing food. We really enjoyed the breakfast sitting outside under the shade. The family loved the swimming pool having it available all the time was great. Jayantha was also available to help if needed.

    Perfect stay in Sri Lanka ! We are a familiy with two children in the age of 11 and 14 and spent two weeks in May 2024 in the Villa. Everything was perfect . The host was outstanding. He was always available and had ideas for excursions. The food was very tasty and lovingly prepared. We felt very comfortable and would come back at any time. There were high waves on the beach during our stay. But we had the beach to ourselves. Warm greetings to Sudath, the best host ever !

    The villa was spacious and comfortable. Those who want to cook their own meals - here was everything they needed! Very tasty breakfast - pancakes were my favorite! The beach - wow! The owner is very accommodating. Will help in any situation and question! If you want to go in a bigger company - the Red Parrot villa is next door.

    Villa itself is masterpiece, all decors, aura -felt ammazing. Peacefull paradise Heated Pool, the oceanfront perfect. Silence and empty beach. Swimmable in some locations.     The location is stunning. It is overlooking a beautiful beach (feels like a private beach but it is not). Wonderful space for children to play it the sand. Inside the villa was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely.
