Great place to stay with fantastic hosts. The food is AMAZING! They always went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. They kindly took us on a day trip to visit some tea plantations and waterfalls.

We loved our stay at the cabana, the hosts, mother and son are lovely, the dinner and breakfast are homecooked by the hostess and it might be the best food we ate here! The cabana is very cute and cozy, overall 10/10

Really lovely hosts, excellent english spoken and gave us lots of tips for walking tracks in the surrounding area, including to Lovers Leap waterfall and Single Tree Hill. It was pretty chilly when we stayed and the hot water wasn't super hot, but there were loads of thick heavy blankets on the bed so we slept very soundly and were warm overnight. Breakfast was very tasty, and they arranged dinner for us at fairly short notice, as well as a tuktuk to the train station in Nany Oya the following morning to catch the train to Ella. Highly recommend this spot as it's in a super quiet peaceful area out of the main part of town, so it's easy to walk in but quiet to rest peacefully.

Melanie and her family are so welcoming and friendly. They even put fresh flowers in my room as soon as I arrived. Makes incredible and well prepared Sri Lankan breakfast. Really goes out of their way for whatever you need. The location is up on a hill with beautiful views. The neighbourhood isn't located near amenities so it's a 10 / 15 minute walk to the local shops at the bottom of the hill. Call for a tuk tuk or taxi if you want to go anywhere. They will arrange for you.

The place was so clean and very spacious than expected. The interior and exterior architecture with lighting arrangements was so beautiful at night. The care taker, Mr.Subramaniam was so hospitable and helpful. It was so easy for us to make the arrangements as our needs. Highly recommended place to have a great fun and to relax.

What an amazing experience!!! This is a wonderful place that takes you back in time. The garden, the good and mostly the people working there are amazing! We stayed 2 days but wish we could have stayed longer. This place is idéal for totally disconect and enjoy the wonderful nature that is all around. The owner (Sandy) is the sweetest person we met in our trip. She got us some welcome tea, and offered to cook dinner for us. The house is really well put together, a sweet little cabin in the woods, we felt really cozy and 'at home'
