Secluded and quiet location, surrounded by nature. We could see peacocks and monkeys from our balcony! The accommodation itself was very nice and cozy, excellent value for money. The food was also really nice and the staff were really welcoming and always to our disposal. Totally recommend to stay there if you are in the area!

Wonderful place! Wonderful people. Very tasty and fresh products. Breakfast was delicious. They prepared vegan version especially for us. Everyday dishes were different. Perfect location! The owners are really helpful and friendly. It was a real pleasure to spend time with them! We appreciate every moment in Menaka. Bed is comfortable, room is clean and you have a lot of space outside to spend nice evening. You can rent a motorbike or a bicycle in low price. If you ask, Manu can order a tuk tuk in good price too. He helped us with many things! We were really moved and definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful, very clean accommodation with the most beautiful pool we’ve experienced so far. Very friendly and family-like service, and an incredible variety of exotic wildlife, especially birds. Secluded dream beaches within walking distance (though unfortunately very rough at this time of year). Lots of restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. A true piece of authentic Sri Lanka. Thanks also for the nice birthday surprise for my daughter! Unforgettable stay!

We loved our stay at Amour. This is a quiet place on the south coast near the Rekawa Turtle Sanctuary. Lovely house close to bush, lagoon and turtle beach. Great breakfast. Don is an amazing host who offers information about the area and will also drive you to destinations. Very thoughtful person. Highlights were the Turtle watch, safe rock pool to swim and the ancient Buddhist Mulkirigala Rock Temple. Amazing! Thank you Don and Kanthi.

The rooms were very clean, they had ac and a fan and there was even a fridge in the room which was super convenient. They offer a huge and delicious breakfast which we ordered and it was completely worth it. The area was very quiet and peaceful and there is a beach for swimming just a few minutes away on foot. The owner was very friendly and helpful, he gave us some advice on which bus to take continuing our journey and on good places to eat. It was a really nice stay, I highly recommend it.

Location was simply beautiful ,calm and quiet. Bungalow was very very nice and shower without a roof was my favourite part, great experience. But the best part about this place are turtles. Owner can take you for a night trip to see turtles laying eggs on the beach and really went an extra mile here. Unforgettable experience, nature is really amazing. Breakfast was delicious and whole family very kind and helpful. 100% recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay, it was perfect! We stayed 3 nights. A really nice and helpful family. They were always available and ready to help us. For example one night we arrived a bit late and they still cooked dinner for us which was very nice. They also have laundry service. The room was big and clean with a nice balcony. The location is very nice, you are surrounded by nature and very close to the beach. The food was really really tasty and there was a lot of choice. This was definitely one of our best stays in Sri Lanka!

    It was our most beautiful accomodation in Sri Lanka! Big,modern villa with beautiful garden. Room was perfectly clean, furnished with good taste and with big balcony overlooking the garden with many birds and plants. Owners were friendly and very helpful. They arranged for us tuk tuk to Stone temple for very good price. We could choose tasty breakfest from their menu. 10 minutes walk is beautiful Silence beach and the are many more great beaches near. We recommend Tanzanite place for 100%!!!

    Everything was great: the villa, the pool, the feeling of being in the jungle while having a beach within 500 steps and some nice restaurants close by also. The personnel was really friendly, and the manager also cooked us a freshly caught fish for dinner. Already want to go back!
