This was the true highlight of the trip. Eliza, the houseboat owner, was extremely hospitable and accommodating. She made every effort to assure that the houseboat was in perfect order for us. She even had a bottle of champagne for us. The accommodations were amazing and extravagant. We wish we had more time to enjoy it.

Breakfast was fantastic! From the very beginning Kevin who checked us in was very helpful and kind & Shonna who gave us reccomendations on things to do in the area. Everything from the cosiness, to the privacy, the local, the quietness, the kindness of all the hosts and guests. If you're needing a place to stay near Groningen, specially after a flight, just take a bus 9 till Eskampenweg and it'll be on the dirt road, just slightly to the right of the stop, all the way at the end. Honestly, couldn't be better.
