Wow! That was our first impression entering the appartement. It is modern with a sauna included. For a little extra, you can use a private jacuzzi with a roof over your head. Absolutely recommendable. The owner is very flexible, uncomplicated and helpful. We got a lot of tips and recommendations and he answered every message within seconds. I would advise everyone to book this place (if you are lucky enough and it is vacant). Would come back anytime to stay longer.

Great location for hikes to the glaciers and very quiet surroundings. Great appartment, very clean and well looked after. Owners are very friendly and helpful people. It was only for one night but we really enjoyed it!

An amazing place with a very cozy house! We liked it so much that we extended our stay (+5 days on New Year). Convenient location near the water with beautiful views, a sauna on the fjord is a 4-minute drive away, ski resorts are 1-1.5 hours away, a glacier is about 1.5 hours away and much more. The house is very warm with a fireplace, near which we spent family evenings watching movies. Over 10 days, we experienced different weather from +9 to -12, from rain to a snowstorm, the house was always cozy! Special thanks for the real New Year's mood for our children!!! The owner presented us a real Christmas tree with decorations. A huge surprise for us was to see the northern lights 2 days (31.12 and 1.01), which we didn't even dream of. We would be happy to come here many, many more times!!! We highly recommend it!

The cabin was bigger and nicer than I had imagined. There was a big living room/dining area and kitchen. The living room had a couch, a chair, a TV and a small fireplace. The bedrooms were nice and spacey. The location was great even though it was somewhat next to a gas station. Don't let the location fool you, there is a nice view of the mountains, and a there is a lake 3 meters behind the cabins. You don't have to call the number for check-in, you just go and get the keys from the gas station. The gas station has food, and is combined with a Peppes Pizza To Go where you can eat as well. Behind the gas station there is a Coop Prix grocery store.

Surrounded by forest and mountains, Stardalen Hyttegrend is next to the Stadalselva River. It offers modern cottages with a fully equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi and views of Jostedal Glacier.

It ticked all our wishes. Well maintained and pretty well equiped not too much modernised wooden cabin in the beautiful Norwegian fjord-mountains around us AND so quiet there. Enough activities possible in area, supermarkets approx. 10 km distance.
