The best guesthouse in Skardu! The location is quiet and beautiful, the rooms are spacious, very clean, and the beds are super comfortable. Breakfast was great and the value for money is unbeatable. This is a real friendly guest house which has great service and a good atmosphere. Our 3-night stay at Taj Residence Skardu was truly a highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The host treated us like family, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. The garden was absolutely stunning—full of vibrant flowers and the perfect place to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable—ideal for two friends traveling together. What made our experience truly special was the host’s personal touch. He not only arranged our tour car and helped us plan our itinerary, but also took the time to share the rich culture, history, and daily life of the Skardu region. It gave our trip a deeper meaning and left us with lasting memories. Overall, Taj Residence offers excellent value for money, but even more importantly, it offers a heartfelt connection to the place and its people. Highly recommended!

I’m so grateful to the family who run Sehrish. They picked me up from the airport, let me use the guesthouse as a base while I explored Baltistan, hooked me up with a motorcycle and later a driver, and gave me good advice. But what did I really love at Sehrish? The hot, high pressure water! After long days in the dust of Baltistan or returning after week-long stints up country the bathrooms at Sehrish are a godsend. I’ll be forever grateful for those transfiguring showers. Thanks so much, Sehrish family!
