My husband and I desperately needed to take some time off from work and duties and have some time as a couple to focus on our relationship. It was great to be able to have fun together. We played billiards, ping-pong, relaxed in the sauna and enjoyed delicious regional specialities in the restaurant. We are so satisfied that we plan on returning the next time we need some time away. We were only able to stay one night. I think it would be ideal as a short getaway trip. For us, two nights would have been ideal. This would have been long enough to allow for a full day to relax and enjoy all the facilities. But we are grateful for the time we were able to spend here. I also appreciated that they provided gluten-free bread for me for breakfast. (I communicated my food intolerance earlier and they responded very quickly and positively whereas many other hotels are not willing to provide alternatives.) The staff was excellent -- especially the nice receptionist with her beautiful smile, sparkling eyes and very kind heart. She greeted us so warmly that we felt like we were special guests! We would give her an 11 on a scale of 10! One more thing... the hotel is not located in Krynica Morska itself. It is one town further -- Piaski -- just a few km by the Russian border. This, for us was a plus because it meant it was less crowded and touristic than Krynica. We loved walking along the quiet serene beach untainted by tourism.

If someone arrives by car to discover the region, this is the perfect spot. It is situated in the middle of a forrest, close to Frombork, and Gdansk, Malbork Castle or the Baltic seaside are also easily reachable. The apartment was supercozy, the staff is helpful, the breakfast is tasty, we had a perfect holiday here!

Everything. Our stay was one of the most enjoyable we have had while touring Europe. The staff (one for sure) went above and beyond taking care of us. Beautifully renovated historic building. Fridge, kettle, coffee, tea and water in the room. Nice sized bathroom with a great shower. Breakfast the first morning was lacking fresh fruit but after mentioning this it was there the next morning.

The building is brand new. My room was neat, nice and comfortable. But my favourite part was a terrace with a quiet view on the bay where I had my breakfast every morning listening to birds. The administrator was very helpful and friendly. The place is somewhat far from the "center" which in my case was perfect as I wanted calm and peaceful neighbourhood.

The hosts were the kindest folks you could ever meet. They stayed up late waiting for our arrival - as we were stuck in an accident/traffic on our way up to the property. After making sure we got inside okay, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of mood lighting possibilities. Everything in the home was modern and super clean. The bedrooms upstairs were cozy - and another full bathroom was upstairs so no precarious walks downstairs needed late at night. The wood stove downstairs was a morning ritual with breakfast with the French doors open to the beautiful natural surroundings right out the patio. After an afternoon spent in Elbląg, we returned to find pears and apples left for us by the hosts (straight from the trees). Amazing. I baked some of them for breakfast on the last morning. The fire pit on the side of the house is a must for a night under the stars. This property is a true relaxing get-away into the quiet wild Polish countryside. I cannot wait to return again - hopefully very soon!
