Character hotel in a beautiful setting. Room was clean and comfortable. Claudia and the owner were very friendly and helpful. There is a village 1km away but for us the hotel had everything we needed. We cooked our own evening meal in the well equipped kitchen. Breakfast was provided and very tasty.

Marisa has a beautiful house and makes her guests feel very comfortable- she made sure we understood the area and a little about the history of the town. the accomodation is spacious and immaculately clean- it has everything you could need. Marisa also provides a delicious breakfast with a variety of home cooked foods - staying with Marisa has been a real highlight of our visit to Portugal. (Her cheese is also delicious!!)

We loved everything about staying here, the breakfasts, the pool, the beautiful building and decorations but most of all the location being so remote and peaceful. We would definitely recommend staying here and would have liked to stay longer.

Perfect location for visitors to the rock carvings - a very pleasant stay. The apartment was easy to find, and the fruit basket on the table was very welcome! The kitchen was practical and functional, and had everything needed for a longer stay - but we were only there for one night.

We liked the personal approach and introduction of the house. And also helped us orient us in the town. Spacious, comfortable for the whole family. Kitchen fully equipped with basic ingredients for a breakfast. Washing mashine was also useful.
