A large house can stay very comfortable with 5 people. Everything you need in the kitchen has been thought of. Towels and sheets are very clean. The owner is very interested. The price is very affordable. Great place if you are traveling by car.

The location was spot on for us, lovely views, easy to find, all facilities around us. Host was brilliant, We had an issue with wifi and he sorted it staright away, checked through text everything was ok for us. great guy.

This place was incredible! Penacova is THE most amazing little village, and the guesthouse we stayed in was incredible. Eduardo and his brother made us feel SO welcome, and we even had a huge functions kitchen to ourselves to cook our yummy dinner! They were so lovely and authentic! Please don't be put off by their struggle with wi-fi - just appreciate the surroundings - a true, authentic European village!

Everything. The host and hostess are so welcoming, helpful, and Kind. The place is very clean, homely, with a pool, and full of all that a family would need. Worked wonderfully for a single traveller like me too. The view over the river is outstanding. An amazing experience overall. Highly recommend and would definitely book again. Children will find this place magical.

Everything was exactly like in the photos. Rooms were, clean, bright and spacious. Design was very nice and the hosts were really friendly. Breakfast was great, not many options, but very tasty ones. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Just a short 10-ish minute walk from the city center, Vila Julieta was nested in a quiet enclave of Coimbra - making a good night’s sleep easy. Our room was spotless and had great air conditioning which was a plus on a 32° day. Breakfast was replete with all the stuff you’d expect from a good hotel (fresh breads, cold cuts, fresh fruits, jams, fresh pressed juice, the works) but also had a bunch of local goodies to try. Sonia and Jonah were super gracious hosts and were happy to give us recommendations for dinner and drinks. All in all, I think this is one those places you definitely revisit for a relaxing, welcoming stay.

So clean and newly refurbished, smelt so fresh. Lovely view to the park, sunny, comfortable bed and shower, very convenient to university and botanical gardens. Host very attentive and kindly allowed us to leave our bags albacore check in and slightly after check out time. Great value
