The property was located in the countryside outside Stockholm and so was really quiet. There were walks which led to beaches and into the forests; we quite often saw deer and even saw a moose/elk in the garden. Even though it was outside Stockholm there was a convenient bus service into the city that took about an hour each way; this meant that we didn't have to drive to most locations. It was also convenient for the ferry (short bus ride away) which went to locations such as Sandhamn. One last comment is the Bageri within walking distance of the property; it was excellent for a mid morning cup of tea/coffee and a cake. The quality and cleanliness of the property was really good. The beds were big and comfortable; the shower was good and came with facilities such as a dishwasher. I wouldn't have problem recommending this property to someone else. As for Sweden; great place to visit.. would definitely go back again.

By far the best place I have ever stayed. I arrived later than hoped and was met with great patience and kindness. Can't wait to go back to Stockholm just to visit this peaceful, beautiful space again!

The house and the surroundings were absolutely amazing! In the middle of the forest, quiet place and mostly in the evening where u can enjoy the sunset but having the daylight and being at peace.

Excellent little cottage in Stockholm's archipelago. If you are looking for a feeling of seclusion in Swedish nature, while still within reasonable driving distance of many amenities then I can highly recommend a stay at this property. Nice walks in the forests nearby, the property has direct access to the water, but there are also sandy beaches within a short drive. The property itself has everything you need to be comfortable, well equipped kitchen (hob but no oven), large fridge/freezer, working heating/hot water, grill + everything necessary to cook on it. Would certainly visit again.
