The location of the hotel is very very beautiful. Situated directly at the river bank you are able to enjoy your evening and night relaxing by the quiet and calm canal looking at the lights reflecting themselves in the water. It is also easy to get there as you just walk until the end of the Floating Market. The owners are very friendly, speak great english and take care of you if you ever needed something! As I was the only guest for the night I stayed, they let me even have a better room and on the next day the owner took me on a train ride to Ban Laem and back to the Mae Klong Market. I had a great time and a lot of fun in Amphawa! Thank you!!

So far the best host ever for me! A genuine man impersonating the pure thai hospitality and making you feel home all the time! Not even speaking perfect english, with his mobile translator he was always keen to accomplish any request in the best way. Preparing the private tour I was asking for, giving suggestions, advices about the sorrounding attractions. The whole family is charming and the house vibe is terrific, the best place to breathe the countryside with the final touch of the river that is what we needed to feel the floating market environment. Clean room, furnished in the proper way, with a beautiful river view enriched by a lovely sunset! Kayak available to make your own trip if needed. Nice thai style breakfast, with some drops of continental style.

The absolute best hing i have got to mention is the people that run this place. We called them grandpa and grandma as they reminded us so much of that. They do everything for you and make your stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. We cant thank them enough for the stay there. We got everything they wanted and they even drove us to the busstation to show us the good way to Bangkok. If you stay in this town u better go here because u wont be disappointed. It lays right next to the floating market at 150 meter walk and has a minibus connection to the train market. U could spend 2 days here and use them fully. We were there for 3 days and had enough to do to fill the whole stay.

I had an incredibly relaxing and comfortable time, completely refreshed by the lush, green nature, blue sky, and clear air—experiences you simply can’t get in the heart of Bangkok. The gentle sounds of insects, birds, animals, and even the soft whispers of the wind all contributed to a deeply soothing atmosphere. The owner couple was very kind and supported our vacation perfectly while maintaining just the right amount of distance. Although we have visited many of Thailand’s major spots, this was by far the most comfortable and welcoming space I’ve ever experienced. In addition, as they are fluent in English, even foreign guests can enjoy their stay without any issues. My child was also given the opportunity to experience farming firsthand and play with the dog; he was extremely satisfied and joyful, even remarking that it was sad to leave. I definitely want to visit again—once again, thank you to the owner couple!

We were warmly welcomed by the owner and shown to our cottage: a charming house with a high-pitched roof, soaring ceilings, and large windows that opened up to a serene landscape. The entire setting exudes tranquility and space. The grounds are well-kept and offer the calm atmosphere of a countryside retreat. What makes Royal Mountain View truly special is the thoughtful blend of comfort and style. The larger cottage we moved into was bright and spacious, with a generous living area — perfect for families. A small play kitchen inside was a delightful surprise, adding a playful touch for little ones. The interior is tastefully decorated, and the surrounding nature invites you to slow down and unwind. In the evening, we watched fireflies twinkle through the windows — a magical end to the day. Breakfast the next morning was simple but satisfying: rice with a fried egg and some bread, and a quiet seat in the garden to enjoy the morning sun. The overall vibe is warm, relaxed, and personal — like stepping into a slower, more peaceful rhythm of life. Royal Mountain View isn’t about luxury; it’s about natural beauty, genuine hospitality, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer.
