beautiful place with a homely atmosphere, run by a great multicultural family with good taste and respect :)..kind of at the end of the world :) but it was exactly what we needed at the end of our trip. If we ever have a chance to get in Kizimkazi again, this place will definitely be our choice! Thank you guys! Dzieki za vszystko!!:)

We stayed at the best place in Kizimkazi village! Yasmin was amazing – she took care of everything for us, from organizing tours to making sure we didn’t miss the whales. It’s definitely worth asking her about anything you need. The house is cozy and pampering. In the mornings, we ordered delicious breakfast from Yasmin’s restaurant. We felt completely safe – there’s a guard on-site 24/7. The house is surrounded by forest, and the moment you enter the path leading to it, it feels like stepping into a fairytale. No doubt we’ll be coming back at the end of our trip. Thanks to the whole team – and big thanks to Mama Yasmin!

We had a great time at the lodge. The room was nice and the bathroom was bug. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great. We enjoyed the pool and the yoga area. Wifi works well. Totally recommend.

It is a very nice place directly by the ocean. You have breakfast, which is very good and varied, with a view of the sea at low tide with the mussel and crab gatherers walking around. The room was very nice, clean and quiet. The host family is extremely nice and welcoming. In the evening you can watch the sunset and listen to the waves. You can either have dinner at the hotel (both Omi and his wife are chefs) or find a restaurant close by. The beach for swimming is just a short walk away.

Mawingu lodge is a clean and wonderful place, surrounded trees and plants. The location is perfect, literally 1 min walk from the beach and 2 min walk from the village center. Orit and the employees are super friendly, and have great recommendations for things to do around. The room was big and designd beautifully, so i really felt like home. I would definitely come back again :)

The hotel is run by an Italian family. Paola has created a piece of Europe in the middle of the exotic African jungle. We found European standards of quality and comfort and the warmth of Italian hospitality. Beautiful surroundings, small cozy houses nestled among blooming African trees, bushes, and flowers. The hotel is close to the main road, which is very convenient for traveling, yet we had a sense of complete privacy and seclusion. The hotel isn’t located directly on the beach, but it’s only a five-minute walk away. Within the hotel grounds, there are even two big swimming pools, with a nicely arranged relaxation area, so you can enjoy the sun and water without leaving the property. We stayed in a very comfortable, spacious house with air conditioning. There were some water and spices for cooking waiting for us upon arrival. The continental breakfast was great. The best experience, however, was Paola - the very special hostess of the place. She personally handled every single issue, answered all our questions, and gave us the most valuable advice on restaurants and services in nearby towns. She also shared her favorite places in Stone Town, which we gladly visited and truly appreciated. All the staff members were very helpful, offering advice on getting around and making the most of our stay. The hotel is in a great location. You can easily walk to Paje along the beach. There’s a large sandbank with very easy access, just a short distance from the hotel to the north - you simply can’t miss it. It’s an amazing place for all kinds of enjoyment. And just to the south, there’s the very special town of Jambiani - full of friendly people and interesting activities. A very genuine vibe of local life. At this hotel, we were able to unwind after a rather thrilling and exciting journey. It felt like European home with all the beauty and pleasures of Africa. The biggest thank you to Paola.

We stayed at the room closest to the sea and it was a blast! The Mango Beach House is the nicest place in Jambiani. You have a fantastic view on the sunrise, the food is fantastic. I loved the swahili eggplant dish!

The staff were absolutely amazing - really made us so incredibly comfortable. The restaurant food was delicious. The accommodation is just a short walk from the beach. Loved our stay.

This is a SUPER place to Stay! I was there alone because my friends was in other hotel, and all the time I felf SAFE! The house is directly on the beach, which maybe you don’t see on photos, and it is safe to be there also at night. All staf are so kind and polite, and manager/ receptionist will always find the time to speak with you, so If you travel alone, you will not feel alone there. Everything is totally new and very cleen. Breakfast is really good, If you do not expect too much, beacuse this is not 5 star hotel, and it was delicious. I enjoyed in fresh juice, coffee, eggs and pancakes (they have Nutella!). I hope I will come back here next year! Hakuna matata.

It was the perfect begining to our Zanzibar trip, Jenny and all the other staff is so welcoming and accomodating. The rooms are nicely decorated and the restaurant has good food. Would happily return.
