A wonderful guest house close to Hilo. Absolutely amazing stay and indeed one of our favorites. Many activities around and great offer. Don’t forget to visit (and have breakfast) at legendary Mr Ed‘s Bakery. Wonderful rooms, wonderful common areas. Friendly and super helpful staff on site. Peaceful place in nature. We miss it and will be back sometime indeed.

We can highly recommend the Orchid Tree B&B. It has a great location, close to the city center and the airport. The rooms are tastefully decorated and cozy. The exceptionally friendly landlord is always available to provide helpful tips on dining and sightseeing. The garden is a well-maintained tropical paradise, and breakfast on the terrace is simply heavenly. Everything is wonderful and invites you to stay longer. Definitely worth a visit! The Kuttnig family.

the house was equipped with everything we needed - thank you for the nice welcome presents which we enjoyed. The house was very clean and the service +communication was fast, very friendly and excellent. We had the best time in Hilo and around.
